The Indiana Academy for Science, Mathematics, and Humanities is a public high school on the Ball State University campus in Muncie. The Indiana General Assembly established it in 1988. It is not a charter school and is not a special-education campus. Indiana students may apply as sophomores, juniors, or seniors as residential or commuter students. Tuition and textbooks are free for Indiana students. Residential room and board for 2026-27 is $2,700 a year, or $1,350 a semester, and includes three meals a day. Need-based tiers can reduce that yearly fee to $1,450, $498, or $0.
