The Indiana Department of Education accredits the school, and Fishers is a College Board member. The course guide has more than 200 offerings, including Honors, Advanced Placement, Advanced College Project, dual credit, Project Lead the Way, Academy of Finance, International Baccalaureate, vocational certifications, and work internships. The year runs as two 18-week semesters with four 83-minute class periods. About 90 percent of graduates continue after high school. The class of 2026 had 929 graduates, and 92 percent entered post-secondary education. Clubs, performing arts, academic teams, and athletics sit beside that course work. The school motto is Have Pride, Show Character, Build Tradition. Newsweek, U.S. News, and The Washington Post have named Fishers among the country's top high schools. It is a general-population district high school, not a therapeutic campus.

It serves children ages two to five and is not a special-education school. All classes meet from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on their scheduled days. For 2026-27, 2-year-olds (age 2 by September 1) meet two days a week for $270 a month. 3-year-olds (age 3 by September 1) meet Tuesday through Thursday for $370 a month. 4-year-olds (age 4 by September 1) meet Monday through Thursday for $430 a month. Transitional kindergarten for older 4s and 5s (age 5 by December 31, 2026) meets Monday through Thursday for $450 a month. The registration fee is $135 per child and is not applied to tuition. Class caps are 10 children for 2-year-olds, 14 for 3-year-olds, 17 for 4-year-olds, and 14 for transitional kindergarten. Closings and delays follow Hamilton Southeastern Schools. On a 1- or 2-hour delay, class starts at 10:00 a.m. and still dismisses at 1:00 p.m.
