Every Piece Counts - Rockaway Center — Green Pond Rd

Every Piece Counts has provided therapeutic services to children and adolescents diagnosed with autism since 2016, working in its centers, in daycares, and in client homes. The Rockaway center offers a comprehensive program designed for young children between the ages of 18 months and 8 years in a clinic setting. The center accommodates half day, full day, and after-school schedules.

The program is built around individualized ABA therapy, with direct 1-on-1 sessions delivered by a skilled behavior technician. Board Certified Behavior Analysts provide regular assessment and ongoing oversight, and a BCBA supervises on site every day. Instruction and progress monitoring are data driven. Peer interaction with same-age children and small group instruction build social and academic readiness skills. A clinic-based approach provides a structured environment with fewer distractions than may be present at home or in daycare, which the program uses to build foundational skills that carry over into other settings.

Families working with Every Piece Counts can also access speech therapy from Speech-Language Pathologists who coordinate with the ABA team. That work covers autism spectrum disorder, childhood apraxia of speech, articulation, phonological disorders, and expressive and receptive language. Fluency, AAC, social and pragmatic language, and feeding challenges are addressed as well.

Intake covers diagnosis, age, insurance, and desired service location, then moves to benefits confirmation and a written out-of-pocket cost summary. A BCBA skill-based assessment with a parent interview sets the recommended number of therapy hours. Diagnostic evaluations are coordinated through a partnership with MyWellbrook.
