Midwest Academy serves students in grades 3 through 12 with ADD and ADHD, language-based learning differences, high-functioning autism, and auditory processing challenges. Students learn in a small, engaging setting with a progressive curriculum and a community built around academic achievement, self-acceptance, and individual accountability. Classes are grouped by academic ability rather than grade level, and learning is project-based. Students show what they know through projects, presentations, experiments, and discussion instead of frequent testing. The BOOST program adds one-to-one and small-group remediation in math and reading, and a postgraduate fifth year is available for students who are not yet ready for college or work. Midwest Academy is accredited by the Independent Schools Association of the Central States, and enrollment is rolling throughout the school year.
