Lake Zurich High School
Lake Zurich High School, part of Community Unit School District 95, was named a 2024 U.S. Department of Education National Blue Ribbon School. Our courses are organized into academic divisions, including Global Studies, Innovation and Career Pathways, Literacy and Performing Arts, Mathematics and Computer Science, and Physical Development and Wellness. Students choose from college prep, honors and AP levels, and some social studies courses use a blended 3-2 model with three days face to face and two flexible or virtual days. We encourage four to five years of world language study, which prepares students for the proficiency exam toward the State Seal of Biliteracy. Art + Design offers three tracks, and the INCubator entrepreneurship program ends each year with a final pitch night. Our counseling and student services team leads career exploration and college services, and students run the Bear Facts student media outlet. Athletics, clubs and extracurricular activities fill out the school week, and mentor and volunteer opportunities connect students with the community.
