Lake Zurich High School

Isaac Fox Elementary is one of five elementary schools in Lake Zurich Community Unit School District 95. Each day opens with a social-emotional learning morning meeting, followed by a long block of English language arts, a math block, and time for social studies and science. Students attend specials every day, with longer sessions four days a week, and lunch and recess together give them a real break at midday. Our Literacy and Innovation Hub, run by the school librarian, offers an ebook collection and book-themed reading, writing and STEAM activities. The Isaac Fox PTO meets in our library and hosts family events such as Trunk or Treat and the Painted Pumpkin Palooza. The district also offers preschool screening for children ages 3 to 5, so families can check on development before kindergarten.

JCC Chicago Early Childhood is dedicated to nurturing the potential of young learners, serving children from infancy through preschool age, including those with language-based learning disabilities and other developmental challenges. The school's core mission revolves around fostering a love for learning while focusing on social-emotional development, which is vital in helping children navigate their emotions, build empathy, and establish healthy relationships. Through a variety of engaging programs and therapeutic methodologies, educators create an enriching environment that not only addresses academic needs but also promotes resilience and confidence in each child. Unique to JCC Chicago is its low student-teacher ratio, which ensures personalized attention and strong family partnerships that enhance the educational experience. Additionally, the school incorporates the Sheva framework, integrating Jewish values into daily practices to cultivate a supportive community where curiosity thrives. With multiple locations throughout Chicagoland, JCC Chicago Early Childhood stands out as a place where wonder and confidence grow in every child.

We support students with a school day that includes core academics, specials and social-emotional learning. For students who qualify, the team includes special education staff and paraeducators; families of preschool-age children can also ask the district about Child Find screening.
