About the Center

1789 N Wedgewood Ln is where Crimson Heights runs its Cedar City operation, and it has its own direct line at (435) 383-4535 rather than routing through the St. George main number. Staffing covers both sides of the practice: two board certified behavior analysts, a clinical area manager and an associate clinical mental health counselor, and a clinical social worker. One of the analysts has spent more than twenty years working with people on the autism spectrum and concentrates on high support needs clients; another works with everything from early intervention to social and executive functioning skills for teenagers.

Services at this location include ABA therapy, individual mental and behavioral health therapy, therapeutic day treatment and partial hospitalization aimed at pre-teens and adolescents, and residential treatment. All of it rests on behavior skills training, where a skill gets taught, modeled, rehearsed, and then reinforced with feedback, delivered experientially across clinic, community, and home settings so it carries into real life rather than staying tied to a therapy room. A BCBA writes the goals in every ABA program and reviews them on a schedule. Children, youth, and young adults are served, with autism, ADHD, intellectual disability, traumatic brain injury, trauma, and obsessive compulsive disorder among the profiles the organization works with.

For payment, Crimson Heights takes Medicaid and CHIP plans from Utah, Arizona, Colorado, and Nevada, plus Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Aetna, Cigna, EMI, Select Health, and Medicare Part B. Private pay is billed by the hour at $70 for skill development and behavior management, $175 for counseling, and $225 for a behavioral health evaluation. Getting started means calling or texting, emailing info@crimsonheightsbh.com, or submitting the online form with the client's date of birth, insurance provider, and services of interest. Weekday hours are 9am to 6pm.

Bridgeway Integrated Healthcare Services - Cedar City

Cedar City, UT
No reviews yet

Cedar City families work with Bridgeway Integrated Healthcare Services, which operated under the name Utah Behavior Services until its rebrand, at 2390 W Highway 56. The location serves Iron County and offers care in the clinic, in the home, and over telehealth. Its service list runs from applied behavior analysis and in-home ABA through day treatment, mental health services, social skills, psychological evaluations, and family counseling. Treatment plans are individualized for children, adolescents, and adults, and are built by board certified behavior analysts, registered behavior technicians, and licensed mental health clinicians working as one team. Students enrolled in center-based day treatment may add UTBS Academy, an academic program that runs alongside treatment rather than in place of it. Each student is paired with a special education teacher who joins the behavior, mental health, and medical team, and together they write an individual academic plan with baseline data and measurable goals in reading, writing, and math. Minimum participation is 15 hours weekly for children aged 3 through pre-kindergarten and 21 hours weekly from kindergarten to age 21. The program suits students who struggled in public placements, who have never been in school, or who are preparing to return to one, and it is explicitly not designed for students on track to graduate with a high school diploma or for clients who could attend their regular district or charter school. Insurance handles the clinical side, with Medicaid, CHIP, Blue Cross Blue Shield, SelectHealth, Cigna, United Healthcare, Aetna, Molina, PEHP, EMI Health, Humana, and Tricare among the accepted plans, and payment plans offered when coverage falls short. Academy tuition sits outside insurance at $5,885 annually for preschool and $10,700 for kindergarten through grade 12 and post high school students up to age 22. The state-funded Children's First Education Fund scholarship can cover that in full or in part for Utah students aged 3 to 21 with a disability documented under IDEA who are not attending a public or charter school, with deadlines in August, October, January, and March. The main line is (801) 255-5131 and Academy inquiries go to academy@bihs.co.
