Adaptive Therapies is a therapy clinic on East Navajo Street in Farmington, serving San Juan County in New Mexico's northwest corner. It works primarily with children from birth to 21 and also offers therapy services for adults, so a family is not forced to change providers when a young person ages out. The clinical approach is play-based. The practice's stated position is that a child's primary occupation is play, and that play supports every area of development and learning, so sessions are structured around it rather than around drills. Clinicians carry more than 30 years of combined experience across occupational and physical therapy.
