About Lacuna Autism Services - Boston
We support children and families throughout the greater Boston area with individualized, neurodiversity-affirming ABA therapy.
Our approach is built around each child's strengths rather than a list of deficits. We work toward communication, confidence, independence, and growth in everyday life, and every plan follows clinical recommendations from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) so it is tailored to that child's developmental needs and therapeutic goals.
We work with children across a range of diagnoses, including autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, and other support needs.
In Boston, our services are currently offered in the home and within community settings where appropriate, which lets children practice skills in familiar, real-world environments instead of a room they visit once a week. A local clinic is opening, and until it does, we come to you.
We are committed to integrated care. Our Boston team works alongside families, educators, speech and occupational therapists, and pediatric providers, so your child receives coordinated support from every angle rather than four professionals working in isolation.

From here we support individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families throughout Boston and the surrounding neighborhoods. What we think matters most is that ABA should happen where the skill is actually needed. That is why we deliver services in three settings rather than one. Families can come to our center, which is purpose-built for therapy. We provide ABA in the home, where routines like mealtimes, mornings, and bedtime are the real curriculum. And we work in schools, supporting students in the classroom environment where they spend their day. Many of the families we work with move between these settings over time, and we would rather adjust the setting than ask a family to adjust to us. We know the funding question is usually the first one parents want answered, so we keep information on insurance coverage and funding options available, and our intake team will talk it through with you before you commit to anything.
