The Chicagoland Autism Connection (CAC) is a dedicated nonprofit organization committed to enhancing the lives of individuals with autism and their families. Established in 1997, CAC serves a diverse community by providing essential resources and support for children and adults diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. The organization focuses on fostering awareness and understanding, offering a range of programs designed to empower families navigating the complexities of autism. These include monthly parent meetings, resource fairs like the social events such as summer picnics, and advocacy initiatives that connect families with vital information and community support. What sets CAC apart is its strong emphasis on building family partnerships and creating inclusive environments through engaging activities that promote connection among members. With initiatives like the Chicago Southside Autism Support Group and the Team Social Club, CAC cultivates a sense of belonging while ensuring that families have access to shared experiences and expert advice.

We provide center based and in home/school based services. We are an assent based program. Meaning we are play based. We are also a multi disciplinary program and offer speech, occupational and Social emotional services.

Our approach is family-centered, compassionate, and individualized. We collaborate with families to develop meaningful goals, build essential skills, and support each child's growth at home, school, and in the community.
