The Place for Children with Autism - Elgin

Our Elgin center is in Suite 105 at the Point Boulevard building. The local team includes Karinna, whose early-intervention work focuses on social development, and Matthew, who brings extensive experience teaching social skills. Parent training is part of our approach to supporting children outside sessions. We offer autism diagnostic evaluations and clinic-based Applied Behavior Analysis for children as young as 12 months. Treatment is individualized and can address communication, social interaction, play, school readiness, and everyday living skills.

We provide center based and in home/school based services. We are an assent based program. Meaning we are play based. We are also a multi disciplinary program and offer speech, occupational and Social emotional services.

Our approach is family-centered, compassionate, and individualized. We collaborate with families to develop meaningful goals, build essential skills, and support each child's growth at home, school, and in the community.
