The Autism Center offers comprehensive and focused Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy across rural Illinois including direct, one-to-one therapy services, in-depth caregiver training as well as consultation services. ABA therapy focuses on improving socially significant behaviors by breaking down complex skills into smaller components and using positive reinforcement to teach and reinforce those skills. ABA therapy is most commonly used as a treatment for autism spectrum disorder (ASD), but it can also be used to treat other developmental and behavioral disorders.
