About Acorn Health - Lakeland
Acorn Health Lakeland is at 600 Lake Hollingsworth Drive, open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and we offer center-based and in-home ABA therapy. Our BCBAs start with skills assessments and functional behavior assessments, then share a custom therapy plan with parents. We focus first on communication, social skills, and daily living, including mealtime challenges and intensive toilet training, and family training is part of every plan. Our Lakeland clinical director, Megan Henderson, has worked in ABA since 2014 and takes a trauma-informed, assent-based approach. For our early intervention program, families can meet with a clinical team member for a free consultation within 10 days of reaching admissions. We accept most health insurance plans, which require a doctor's referral and an autism diagnosis for ABA.
