Autism Health Services
Autism Health Services is dedicated to providing a nurturing and supportive educational environment for students aged 3 to 21 with autism spectrum disorders and related developmental challenges. The school's core mission revolves around fostering each child's unique abilities while addressing their specific needs, including language-based learning disabilities and twice-exceptional conditions. Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and social skills training, the school emphasizes individualized learning plans that cater to diverse learning styles. A hallmark of Autism Health Services is its low student-teacher ratio, which ensures personalized attention and fosters meaningful connections between educators and students. Additionally, the school prioritizes strong partnerships with families, recognizing that collaboration is essential for holistic development. Unique community events further enrich the educational experience, creating an inclusive atmosphere that celebrates diversity and promotes social interaction among students and their families.
Comprehensive Autism Center - San Diego
VerifiedComprehensive Autism Center (CAC) serves San Diego County families with center-based ABA in a preschool-like setting for children about ages 2 to 6, optional in-home ABA for children up to about age 6, telehealth when clinically appropriate, and a parent-led Early Explorers coaching track for very young children. Licensed psychology staff conduct developmental diagnostic evaluations for children about birth through age 6 at San Diego and Temecula sites, which can shorten the gap between concern and starting services. Parent workshops and a family liaison line are built into how CAC describes care. Start with the intake or screening flow on the main site, then confirm Medi-Cal, commercial, or other benefits for your member ID. Executive operations leadership includes Monique Erickson, BCBA (centers), and Valerie Rogers, PhD, BCBA-D (in-home and remote).
