About Coachella Valley Lighthouse: Learning. Behavior. Development.
We keep a 3:1 client to staff ratio, and we are accredited by the Behavioral Health Center of Excellence (BHCOE). Since 2010 we have provided ABA therapy for babies, toddlers, children, teens, and adults with autism, with center-based, in-home, and school-based options for families across Riverside, San Bernardino, and Imperial Counties.
Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) build each program, and every behavior technician completes classroom and hands-on training and passes the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) exam. Therapy targets communication, social skills, daily routines, multi-step tasks, and adjusting to new environments, and it reduces self-injurious, repetitive, and aggressive behaviors. We also complete psychological-educational assessments, and parents receive coaching as active members of the treatment plan.
We accept most major insurance plans, Medi-Cal, and private pay, and we arrange single-case agreements when we have no contract with a carrier. Intake moves from referral to an assigned clinical case supervisor, an online portal for forms, a functional assessment, and a treatment schedule once authorization arrives.
