Autism Spectrum Therapies (AST) - Yuma

In Yuma, our center on South Redondo Center Drive brings early intervention therapy to young children with autism and other developmental delays. Our programs are geared toward children under 10, with personalized ABA plans that build communication and social skills, reduce challenging behaviors, and help children reach milestones. We offer diagnostic assessments along with ABA evaluations, and our specialists coordinate care so families are not juggling separate providers. Parents and caregivers are part of the team through training and support that bring therapy strategies into the home. We are open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Since 2015, we have worked with children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental delays here in Yuma. Our child-led approach uses the principles of applied behavior analysis and verbal behavior, favoring respectful, least intrusive interventions. Children ages 18 months to 8 years join our early intervention program, and older children can move into our adaptive skills program for ages 9 to 13, which covers daily living, communication, cooking, hygiene, and money skills. One-to-one therapy is delivered by trained behavior technicians under BCBA supervision. Parent training is a key part of every program, and parents are encouraged to join sessions. Our consultants also partner with school teams to keep home and classroom support consistent.
