ABCD Clinic is a trusted provider of ABA therapy for children with autism in Mobile, AL. Each ABA program is individualized, ensuring that every child's unique needs are met with care and expertise.

In-home ABA in Mobile is for children with autism, with sessions in the home so skills can be practiced during everyday routines. BCBAs complete an initial assessment and build an individual treatment plan with the family. Therapist-to-child ratios are kept low, and therapist matching takes proximity into account. In-home service in Alabama is also named for Birmingham, Huntsville, Montgomery, and nearby communities, and clinic-based ABA is offered across the state. Accepted plans include Cigna, United Healthcare, UMR under the United Healthcare network, and Alabama Medicaid.

Mobile Bay ABA Autism Center provides individualized applied behavior analysis for people of all ages and developmental levels who have an autism spectrum disorder diagnosis. Its Old Shell Road clinic offers one-to-one and group services, while BCBAs also provide in-school consultation, behavioral observation, functional behavior assessment, contextual or ecological assessment, and training for teachers and aides. Assessments can combine caregiver interviews, direct observation and testing, and tools such as the VB-MAPP to evaluate communication, social, classroom, and instruction-following skills. The center also provides individualized caregiver training and coordinates with families, schools, and other therapists to help skills generalize across home, school, clinic, and community settings. The team includes Heath Sherrer, MS, BCBA, LBA, and Alixz Gardner, MS, RBT. The center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with evaluations by appointment. Intake can follow an insurance-covered path or a private-pay path.
