About Foundation Preschool
Our Syracuse preschool uses hands-on materials to introduce counting, reading and other early learning skills. Children choose activities in a prepared environment and return materials when they finish. Circle time includes songs and show-and-tell, with routines that help children practice personal space and classroom organization.
We use math manipulatives, phonics games, letter tracing and writing activities. Science includes exploring gears, levers, pulleys and ramps. Picture books, music and role play also have a place in the day. Themes change from year to year for children who continue with us.
