About Judge Memorial Catholic High School

Judge Memorial Catholic High School occupies 650 South 1100 East in Salt Lake City and serves grades nine through twelve. Its Learning Resource Center provides small group and individualized executive functioning skills intervention and support. Beyond that, staff work with students and families to create student accommodation plans so a student can access tiered support inside core classes, and the school offers tiered supports both inside and outside the classroom, framing this as a response to the range of learners who now come through its doors.

The School Counseling Center is the practical entry point. Counselors handle social and emotional, academic, college, and career counseling, and a student stays with the same counselor for all four years. Dr. Kristin Kladis is Director of Counseling and Student Services. Parents are asked to flag anything that may affect a student's behavior, emotional health, or academic progress, and appointments are booked directly with the counseling office. Counselors also handle crisis situations and point families to SafeUT.

Tuition is $12,560 at the Catholic rate and $14,269 standard. Families may instead choose the cost to educate rate of $15,428, which is the standard figure plus a $1,225 tax deductible donation. Utah Fits All is available at $8,000 per student, and Judge administers a long list of its own awards, including four Centennial Scholarships for incoming freshmen valued at $20,000 each. Families begin with a private tour, shadow day, or open house before applying. Judge is a four time National Blue Ribbon School, most recently in 2021.
