Elizabeth Academy Postsecondary (LEAP)
School profile
Overview
The 1500 East campus in Salt Lake City houses Elizabeth Academy's postsecondary program, LEAP, short for the Lifelong Elizabeth Academy Program. LEAP enrolls adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities from age 18 into their thirties, extending the Montessori-based, classical education approach used at the organization's primary campus. Mornings are given to two academic tracks, humanities and STEM, and afternoons branch into electives.
The week runs Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, with a Friday field experience scheduled about once a month. Tuition for 2026-2027 is $17,000 for the year, with up to $600 in material fees, and it can be paid in full, by half year, or monthly. Tuition assistance is available to qualifying students through the FACTS system, and a family can submit the assistance request at the same time as the program application. Applications go through the same admissions page as the primary campus, and tours of either campus can be requested online. Call (801) 296-0600 for the postsecondary campus.
One thing worth knowing before calling: this address is a continuing-education program for adults past high school, not a K-12 upper school. Parents looking for Elizabeth Academy's infant through 8th grade classrooms should contact the Primary School campus on Connor Street in Millcreek instead.
