Saint Vincent de Paul Parish School occupies a 22 acre campus on Spring Lane in Holladay alongside the parish church, running from infant care through eighth grade with roughly 251 students. The school opened in 1964. Pre-kindergarten takes four year olds, elementary covers kindergarten through fifth grade, and middle school covers sixth through eighth. Student support is a defined role with a published scope of work rather than an informal arrangement. The person in it oversees Renaissance STAR testing across kindergarten through eighth grade and the progress monitoring data behind it, administers PELI testing in pre-kindergarten, and works with teachers to identify students who need support, intervention, or additional testing. They administer cognitive and achievement testing as requested or needed, and work with families and outside services to determine diagnosis eligibility. Students identified as highest need receive one to one and small group intervention. Support Plans are written and maintained in that role, with goals, data, and progress updated alongside the team, and teachers get help building differentiation strategies plus classroom observation data to inform instruction. A separate literacy team meets quarterly, and home literacy totes go out to kindergarten through third grade every other week. A Homework Lab runs after school with a teacher available for questions, Monday through Wednesday for grades three to five and Monday through Thursday for grades six to eight. Applications for pre-kindergarten through eighth grade are online with a $50 non-refundable fee. Alongside immunization records, a state issued birth certificate, and recent report cards, families are asked to submit educational, diagnostic, or evaluative testing results, an IEP, or a 504 plan where these exist.
