Michaels Homeschool Academy
Michaels Homeschool Academy is a Christ-centered homeschool academy serving families in the Chattanooga area, now operating from its own space in East Ridge. It began in fall 2009 with a physical education program for K5 through eighth grade and grew year by year: high school PE in 2013, Spanish in 2014, mathematics in 2015, sciences and music in 2016, art and Health/CPR/First Aid in 2017, then IEW English, computer, and ACT/SAT prep courses in 2019, at which point it was recognized as a full academy. Courses now run from K5 through high school, and students take field trips, produce a yearbook, and join extracurricular activities.
