About LITTLE LEARNERS ACADEMY
Little Learners Academy is a licensed childcare center on West Butler Road in Mauldin, caring for children from six weeks old through school age. We serve families from Mauldin, Greenville, Simpsonville and Five Forks, and we run a second center in Boiling Springs for Spartanburg County families.
Our infant and toddler rooms follow each baby's own feeding and nap schedule, with sensory play, tummy time and early language interaction. Our preschool program serves children ages 3 to 5 and builds early literacy, listening skills and independence through play-based learning, circle time, story time and outdoor play, with a 4K class preparing children for kindergarten. Nutritious meals and snacks are provided every day.
For school-age children, our after-school program offers supervised homework time with teacher help, educational and recreational activities, and care until pickup. We also host a homeschool support program where homeschooled children join group lessons, science exploration, arts and crafts and reading discussions with peers. Our Mauldin center opens at 6:30 a.m. on weekdays for working parents.

Montessori School of Mauldin
Mallika Vejay opened a Montessori classroom for her son and one other child in 1977. That small start grew into the Montessori School of Mauldin, which she still leads at 205b East Butler Road. Today, families can enter the program in infancy and continue through sixth grade. Vejay holds AMI Primary certification, and the school's Primary teachers hold AMI or AMS Primary certification. Infants explore with close attention from teachers, while toddlers build vocabulary, friendships and self-help skills through conversation, art and play. Children ages 3–6 move into Primary classrooms, where they work with Practical Life and Sensorial materials and study language, math, geography, botany and culture. Elementary students in grades 1–6 take on projects in small groups and investigate history, geometry, biology, music, art and Spanish. After school, children from this campus and nearby elementary schools can do supervised homework, eat a snack and spend time indoors or outdoors with peers. Summer brings local and regional field trips and visiting guests. Families can arrange a tour or ask about the infant, Primary and elementary programs at info@mauldinmontessori.com.
