A garden work day gives Meadow Ridge families a way to care for our school grounds together. Wellness and stewardship form part of how we approach learning, alongside a growth mindset and respect for everyone in the community. Our Monarchs attend kindergarten through third grade in the Albany school that opened in 2019 on Timber Ridge Street. The school day starts at nine, with earlier dismissal on Wednesdays. Our office provides Spanish-language support; the parent-student handbook, registration information and school calendar help families follow routines and take part. Principal Chris Sullivan brings experience in elementary classrooms, English language learning, reading intervention and administration, including work across the Pacific Northwest and in Mexico. Assistant Principal Megan Starr has taught elementary classes and supported schools within Greater Albany Public Schools. They work with teachers and the office team as children develop academic skills and early school routines. Our kindergarten through third-grade families can use the parent-student handbook to follow school routines and expectations. Spanish-language office support accompanies registration information and the school calendar. Wednesdays have an earlier dismissal than the other school days.

Hey Diddle Diddle & North Albany Learning Center has been a cornerstone for families in the Willamette Valley since 1982, dedicated to fostering an enriching learning environment for young children. Serving toddlers aged 18 months to 3 years and preschoolers from 3 to 5 years, the center focuses on children with diverse learning needs, including those with language-based learning disabilities and other developmental challenges. The school's core mission is to promote positive self-esteem through a blend of independent and group play, large and small motor skill activities, and problem-solving exercises. With a staff boasting over 50 years of combined training and experience in child care, the center utilizes therapeutic methodologies that emphasize individual growth within a supportive community.
