As an Ohio STEM Designated school, Marysville Early College High School treats STEM as a way of learning: students identify community problems, plan solutions, create innovations and communicate their ideas. Our aviation students have launched a homemade hot air balloon and toured the National Advanced Air Mobility Center of Excellence in Springfield. Through our partnership with Columbus State Community College, students earn significant college credit while in high school, and many progress toward an associate degree before graduation. Ohio Hi-Point Career Center brings career programming into our building, and every student enrolls in a career pathway of their choice with the chance to earn industry-recognized credentials. Students can also schedule release time for our internship program with local employers. We serve students with disabilities under IDEA, including learning, emotional, developmental and multiple disabilities, autism, hearing and visual impairments, traumatic brain injuries, and speech and language impairments, with inclusion in general education classes as our priority.

Marysville High School serves about 940 students in grades 9 to 12. About a quarter of our students are enrolled in AP or college coursework, through Advanced Placement classes and College Credit Plus. Our internship program places students with agriculture partners and other local employers after a pre-placement application and an interview with an internship coordinator, giving them job experience for a resume and a chance to test career interests. Students also choose among 44 clubs and extracurricular groups, along with band, performing arts, and athletics. We serve students with learning disabilities, emotional disabilities, multiple disabilities, autism, hearing and visual impairments, traumatic brain injuries, speech and language impairments, and other health impairments under IDEA, and inclusion in general education classes is our priority because those classrooms give students modeling, social skills, and vocational learning. Gifted services and English learner support are also available.
