Pasquotank High School

At Elizabeth City Middle, students take core classes and choose exploratory courses in the arts, career and technical education, and other subjects. Options include band, general music, ukulele and visual arts. We also offer the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme, academic competition teams, a media center and specialized services.

At H. L. Trigg Community School, we serve students in grades 6–12 through an alternative school program. Our mission is to help each student build the knowledge and skills needed for the future. We focus on attendance, attitude, and academics, and our principal describes individualized academic, social, and emotional support as part of our approach. We value working with families and the community to help students build confidence and move toward their goals.

Our Elizabeth City school is part of New Life Assembly. We use A Beka and Bob Jones curricula, combining academic subjects with Christian values. At New Life Academy, small-group work, outdoor play and opportunities to explore interests are part of learning. We work with parents throughout the student's education and adapt attention to each child's classroom needs.
