About Bright Hope Center

Bright Hope Center is a nonprofit school and tutoring center on State Street in Schenectady that operates without government funding. We offer kindergarten, elementary and middle school, and high school programs that follow New York State Education Department requirements, with classes of one to six students and an accelerated learning approach. Islamic education, Arabic language and Quran studies are available by request, and school programs are billed monthly.

Tutoring covers all subjects and ages, including competition preparation, high school credits, College in the High School and college Arabic, with one-on-one sessions and lower-cost small-group options. We also run a weekend school and a July and August summer program, in person or online, Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Equal access matters to us. We provide accommodations for students who need regular schooling, tutoring or homeschooling services, in line with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
