Shrub Oak International School opened in 2018 in a former Jesuit seminary, rebuilt as a modern school for autistic children, adolescents and young adults. The 127-acre gated campus in northern Westchester County sits less than an hour from New York City and includes a farm, a Life Skills House, fitness facilities and an auditorium. Students attend as day students or live on campus in their own dorm rooms with around-the-clock residential staff. Students are grouped into cohorts by profile. Our Diploma Program follows Next Generation standards with a 3:1 student-to-staff ratio and classes capped at eight, leading to a high school diploma and a CDOS certificate.
