About Brooklyn Autism Center - Brooklyn
Brooklyn Autism Center is a private school in Downtown Brooklyn for students ages 5 to 21 with autism spectrum disorder. Instruction uses Applied Behavior Analysis with a 1:1 student-to-staff ratio. Each student works with a rotating team of three to four instructors. Board Certified Behavior Analysts and New York Licensed Behavior Analysts oversee curriculum, staff training, and data.
The program is full-time and year-round. School days run 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and follow the New York City public school holiday calendar. Brooklyn Autism Center does not accept Medicaid or Medicare funds and does not receive federal, state, or city grants. Extra-curriculars include tennis, dance, music, art, coding, and fitness. BAC Friends is a Thursday after-school peer socialization program.
