About Millennium Art Academy
Millennium Art Academy is a Bronx public high school on the Adlai Stevenson Campus in Castle Hill. Students study core academics alongside visual arts, theater, dance, and other ways to communicate ideas. Founded in 2003, the school uses smaller classes and integrated co-teaching, with a focus on social-emotional learning and restorative practices. Principal Herman Guy now leads the school and its programs. Student work has appeared in New York City galleries and museums, including the Museum of Modern Art and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The school partners with NYU’s ASD Nest Program, which supports students with autism in general education classrooms. After school, students can explore interests through clubs such as theater, martial arts, ukulele, and the Black Experience Club. The campus also participates in Public School Athletic League sports. Garden of Learning and Discovery Pre-K Center
Garden of Learning and Discovery is a District 9 pre-K center where young children learn through early education and individualized support. We offer special education services, CPSE plans, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and physical therapy. Our 8:1:2 and 12:1:1 classrooms give children different levels of adult support. A new 3K classroom includes a Spanish-language program. Families take part in monthly family days, cultural celebrations, and parent workshops, which connect classroom learning with home and community life. High School of Language and Innovation
High School of Language and Innovation is dedicated to fostering an inclusive educational environment for students aged 14 to 21 with diverse learning needs, particularly those with language-based learning disabilities and twice-exceptional learners.
