FlexSchool

FlexSchool is an accredited private school for gifted and twice-exceptional (2e) learners in grades K through 12, with a campus at 34 Russo Place in Berkeley Heights. Teaching starts from the areas where a student already shines, so students gain the confidence to take academic risks and to accept support where they struggle. Every student automatically receives differentiated instruction, executive functioning support, social-emotional learning and pragmatics, and on-demand counseling with no appointment needed. Classes stay small, with ratios of 6:1 in primary, 8:1 in elementary and middle school, and 10:1 in high school. Tuition covers books, lab costs, computer hardware and software, talent development, clubs, experiential learning labs, field trips and college counseling. Financial aid is available, admissions are rolling, and some students attend on district-funded placements.
