Who decides whether my child has a verified disability?
After evaluation, qualified professionals make recommendations to a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT), which determines whether a disability exists. If it does, parents and staff agree on an IEP. Norfolk says every effort is made to educate students with disabilities alongside peers without disabilities. Bring our IEP prep checklist to the meeting.
