Valor Christian Academy

Owensboro, KY Grades PreK-12
Abeka curriculum Biblical worldview Private school

Valor Christian Academy is an independent Christian school in Owensboro teaching students from K4 through 12th grade. Our faculty assigns a teacher to each grade from K4 through sixth, with combined classes for grades 7 and 8, 9 and 10, and 11 and 12, so older students share a room and a teacher across two grades. We teach from the Abeka curriculum and add Spanish, music, art, Bible and life skills. Students who need extra help can turn to our TAS (Tigers Achieving Success) support and tutoring, and a student academic advisor works with older students on course planning. Our mission centers on helping students develop a biblical worldview, built around four learning outcomes: respect, organization, acceptance and responsibility. As a member school of the KCAA conference, we field soccer, golf, cross country, boys and girls basketball, girls volleyball, varsity cheer and bowling.
