Marion County Special Educ

Marion County Special Education Cooperative (MCSEC) is dedicated to providing exceptional educational services to approximately 500 students and preschoolers with diverse needs across Marion County, Kansas. Serving ages 3 to 21, MCSEC focuses on children with various diagnoses, including language-based learning disabilities and those who are twice-exceptional. The cooperative's core mission is rooted in the belief that every child deserves a free and appropriate public education, as mandated by the Education of All Handicapped Children Act. MCSEC employs a range of specialized programs and therapeutic methodologies, including occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech-language services, and transition programs that cater to the unique developmental needs of its students.
