About Westfield High School

Westfield High School is a four-year comprehensive public high school at 18250 North Union Street in Westfield. It is the only high school in Westfield Washington Schools and is not a special-education campus. Principal Alicia Denniston has led the school since 2020. Enrollment for 2025-26 is 3,101 students in grades 9-12. The Indiana Department of Education accredits the school.

The campus uses a trimester calendar. Classes run 67 minutes, five days a week, and students can earn 15 credits a year. A daily CORE period covers connections, opportunities, remediation, and enrichment. The school offers 33 Advanced Placement classes and 23 dual-credit courses through Indiana University ACP and Ivy Tech, plus Project Lead the Way pathways. In 2025, 87 percent of AP students scored 3 or higher.

U.S. News ranks the school No. 8 in Indiana and No. 514 nationally. Westfield was one of five Indiana schools to pilot the AP Capstone Diploma in 2016. It is a general-population district high school, not a therapeutic campus.
