Floyd County Head Start Birth to Five is a Head Start program operated by Floyd County Community Action Agency in New Albany. It is funded through an Office of Head Start grant and is not a private special-needs school. The center-based Early Head Start program meets Monday through Thursday for 8 hours a day and focuses on school readiness, wellness, and social and emotional development.
