Irving Elementary School is a Title I public elementary school in Berwyn South School District 100, on Clinton Avenue in Berwyn. Families come together at community events such as Loteria Night, Trunk or Treat, Unity Day, and Walk, Bike, and Roll to School. Students learn with a 1:1 wireless device program, and we offer a gifted and accelerated program. Through the district's Department of Language Acquisition, English learners work toward becoming bilingual, biliterate, and bicultural by 8th grade, with support from biliteracy coaches and dual language programming. District 100 provides a full continuum of special education services for eligible students ages 3 to 21, with occupational therapy, physical therapy, psychological services, social work, and speech and language services set by each student's IEP, plus Section 504 plans. The district also runs half-day and full-day preschool for children ages 3 to 5 after a screening, and our PTO supports family events.

Lectura Early Learners began as Lectura Montessori School. After new ownership took over in the summer of 2023, we doubled our staff, added a kitchen for in-house cooking, and grew our licensed capacity from 35 children to 82. The new name kept the same team and puts the focus on early learning. We care for children from 6 weeks to five years old in separate infant, toddler, twos, preschool and Pre-K rooms. Our teachers build kindergarten readiness through hands-on projects, and our older classes take field trips such as visits to Brookfield Zoo. Our building sits on the border of Berwyn and Oak Park, and families join us from Berwyn, Oak Park, Cicero, Riverside, Brookfield and other communities around Chicago. We are part of 6K Education, which also operates Sunshine Scholars in Berwyn.
