Ignite Academy was launched in fall 2018 by two educators and parents who wanted a school built around what we call real health: healthy bodies, healthy minds and healthy hearts. Today we are an independent Christian school in Tarpon Springs, teaching kindergarten to 8th grade and drawing families from Hillsborough, Pasco and Pinellas counties. Our learners spend an hour or more outside each day, with daily recess and PE, movement breaks, flexible seating, ergonomic furniture and purified drinking water. Kindergarten through 5th grade students take part in Cook's Corner, which teaches nutrition and introduces healthy foods. Each day opens with a classroom huddle for prayer, worship and Bible memorization, and we gather weekly for chapel and complete service projects together. Academics cover math, reading, writing, science, the humanities and the arts, mixing direct instruction with project-based and interdisciplinary work. All of our teachers hold a bachelor's degree or teaching certificate. We welcome families of different faiths, accept Florida's FTC and FES scholarships, and ask families to share any IEP or 504 plan when they apply.

At Solid Rock Community School, high schoolers can train for animal careers in our S.A.V.E. veterinary and humane education program, or cook plant-based school lunches alongside our chefs in the Solid Rock Cooks culinary program. We are a nonprofit, coeducational K-12 private school in Tarpon Springs, with a seed-to-table garden and daily fitness classes. Students are placed by skill level rather than age alone. New students complete academic assessments and trial days, and our administrators build an individual program from the results, which lets us serve gifted students and students with learning differences in the same building. We accept students with special needs whom we can serve within our population. Pinellas County provides speech, language, occupational and physical therapy on our campus after school for qualifying students, and we offer tutoring and peer group counseling. Our faculty includes 18 full-time and 5 part-time teachers. A full-time academic advisor oversees dual enrollment with colleges including St. Petersburg College and Pasco Hernando State College. We are accredited by Cognia and the Association of Independent Schools of Florida, and families may use Florida scholarships, including FES-UA, toward tuition.

At our North Pinellas campus in Tarpon Springs, students attend St. Petersburg Collegiate High School while working toward a high school diploma and college coursework. The collegiate model connects secondary learning with St. Petersburg College, giving students an opportunity to experience college classes as part of their high school years. The campus serves families in the northern part of Pinellas County.
