As a Center for the Arts, San Carlos Park Elementary gives each child the chance to perform in front of a live audience. Our Mini, Junior and Senior Dance Companies and our Junior and Senior Choruses perform at school and around the community, and students can advance to All County and All State dance and chorus. Drama and Scenery, Jr. Cadets, News Crew, Sea Camp, the Millionaires Club and NEHS round out our clubs. During the school day, students learn ensemble playing in instrumental class, try guitar, keyboard and percussion, study composers and how to read music, and explore eight major types of art. Our Fort Myers campus receives Title I funding and runs a Young 5 program for our youngest learners, and breakfast is served each morning before classes. Our Kids Care program covers working families before school from 6:30 a.m. and after school until 6:00 p.m. on all open school days for students in kindergarten through 5th grade, at $25 a week for mornings and $60 a week for afternoons.
