Boca Raton Achievement Center (BRAC) is a nonprofit special education school dedicated to empowering students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related disabilities, ages 11-22. The core mission of BRAC is to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment tailored to the individual needs and strengths of each student, fostering their growth in academics, life skills, and vocational training. BRAC offers a comprehensive range of programs designed to equip students with essential skills for independent living and future employment. Key offerings include direct instruction in academics, life skills development, health and fitness education, and vocational training. The school employs evidence-based methodologies such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and incorporates therapeutic services like speech and language therapy and occupational therapy. Additionally, social skills groups are available to enhance interpersonal communication and relationship-building abilities. What sets BRAC apart is its commitment to maintaining a low student-teacher ratio, ensuring personalized attention and support for each student. The campus environment is designed to be nurturing and inclusive, promoting community integration and engagement.
