DCHS was formed in 1999 with the purpose of providing quality education with a Christ-centered focus. Enrollment has steadily increased each year, leading us to a new campus in 2013. In December 2014, the Arts and Athletics Center was completed, adding an additional 27,000 square feet of space for offices, classrooms, a training/weight room, men’s and women’s locker rooms, a stage, and a regulation-size gymnasium. Eagle’s Nest Christian Academy and Early Learning Center became a part of the Delmarva Christian Schools system in May 2015. The campus, now known as Delmarva Christian Milton Campus, serves children from six weeks old through four years old in the Early Learning Center and students from pre-kindergarten through grade eight.

Howard T. Ennis School is the Indian River School District's school in Georgetown for students with significant disabilities, from preschoolers through young adults preparing for life after age 21. The school is named for the educator who became the first superintendent of the Delaware Colony at Stockley in 1921 and led it for more than 30 years. Our integrated preschool pairs 4- and 5-year-olds who have significant developmental delays with typically developing peers, with half of each class drawn from each group. Preschoolers follow the district's full-day schedule with bus transportation, breakfast and lunch, weekly music therapy, swimming, and rotations in PE and daily living skills. Transition planning begins at 14. Our PACT program for ages 14 to 18 builds employment, independent living and functional academic skills, and STEP serves ages 18 to 21 with job training on campus and in the community. Students work in four-person crews with two job coaches at host sites such as the Goodwill Store in Bridgeville and East Coast Garden Center. Through Delaware Special Olympics, students take part in Young Athletes, the Motor Activities Training Program and statewide competition.
