The Foundation School

Hope Academy in Orange, Connecticut, serves students in grades 1 through 12 and offers transition services for ages 18 to 22. Teachers build instruction around each student's strengths and learning needs, align academic work with Connecticut State Standards, and add specialized interventions when students need them. The school weaves therapeutic support into the academic day and helps students build positive relationships, executive functioning skills, and readiness for college or work. Hope Academy also offers dual enrollment through Post University to eligible students, who can earn high school and college credits while attending the school. Transition students can work toward an associate degree. School engagement services support students who find school overwhelming, and college readiness shapes the program from the early grades through transition. ACES Educational Center for the Arts, at 55 Audubon Street in New Haven's Audubon Arts District, is a public, half-time magnet high school run by Area Cooperative Educational Services. We serve students from the 25 school districts in south central Connecticut and beyond. Our students study music, dance, theatre, creative writing, or visual arts alongside practicing artists, and our arts program includes multicultural and global citizenship education.

Area Cooperative Educational Services (ACES) is dedicated to enhancing and transforming the lives of students with special needs through innovative educational and therapeutic programs. Serving a diverse population, ACES focuses on providing tailored support for children with various disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, language-based learning disabilities, and emotional challenges.
