About Monarch Academy
Monarch Academy, at 12201 S. Parker Road in Parker, serves neurodiverse children ages 5 to 21 who have struggled to reach their potential in a traditional classroom. Our program works on five domains: successful learning, social-emotional development, social skills, executive functioning, and independence skills.
Learning at Monarch is hands-on, project-based, and expeditionary. Our educators teach directly and in small groups and track academic progress, while our clinical team collects data for daily, weekly, and monthly goals. Our social-emotional programming covers self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision making. Every one of our classrooms has certified and licensed staff.
We use the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, including shaping, modeling, contingency contracting, reinforcement, and self-monitoring, in a flexible, trauma-informed way. Each learner is involved in developing and adjusting their own program with us.
