About Warren Tech North
Warren Tech is a specialized educational institution dedicated to preparing students for success in both their academic and professional lives. Serving high school seniors, particularly those with diverse learning needs and interests, the school focuses on equipping students with practical skills and knowledge that align with industry demands. The core mission of Warren Tech is to bridge the gap between education and the workforce, ensuring that students not only graduate with diplomas but also gain valuable credentials, such as associate degrees in fields like Precision Machining.
The school employs innovative programs that emphasize hands-on learning and collaboration across disciplines. For instance, a unique initiative brings together students from various programs, to engage in real-world projects like simulated fire investigations. This approach fosters critical thinking and teamwork while providing students with experiential learning opportunities that prepare them for future careers.
What sets Warren Tech apart is its commitment to personalized education through a low student-teacher ratio, allowing for tailored instruction that meets individual needs. Additionally, the focus on career readiness through dual-credential programs not only enhances academic achievement but also significantly reduces future tuition costs for students. With specialized facilities and a culture of collaboration, Warren Tech stands out as a nurturing environment where students can thrive academically and socially while preparing for their futures.

Nurtured by Nature Outdoor Exploratory School
Nurtured by Nature Outdoor Exploratory School is an Arvada forest school that runs entirely outdoors for children ages 4 to 7. There is no classroom building to retreat to: students spend the day outside with branches, rocks, logs, bark and dirt as their materials, and they follow the Jefferson County school district calendar for holidays and weather closures. Play is the curriculum. Children get several hours of free, child-led play each day, which we use to build early literacy, oral language, reasoning and social skills like negotiating and compromising. Between free play blocks, students join a large group game and a structured, teacher-led activity every day. Families choose a school-year program, full day or morning only, two, three or five days a week. School-year tuition runs from $304 per month for two mornings to $1,527 per month for five full days. Shorter fall, winter and spring sessions suit part-time preschool or kindergarten students, winter birthdays and homeschool families who want more hands-on outdoor time with peers. We also run a summer camp and all-outdoor break camps during fall break and Thanksgiving week.
Prospect Academy
Prospect Academy is a tuition-free public charter school in Arvada for grades 3-8. Founded in 2022, it uses small classes of 10-15 students, groups learners by ability rather than only by grade, and uses Precision Teaching so students chart their own daily progress. Social-emotional learning is built into classroom routines rather than treated as a separate add-on. The school enrolls students who need more one-on-one attention, a slower mastery-based pace, or explicit instruction in social-emotional and life skills. Common profiles include autism (levels 1 and 2), ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, and executive functioning needs. A formal diagnosis is not required. Hands-on instruction and mastery-based progression are part of the daily model.
