Listed
Lompoc, CAGrades PreK-12Tuition-free

Olive Grove Charter School's Lompoc Learning Center on North H Street is one of four centers for our tuition-free online charter, which has served Santa Barbara County families through its current and earlier charters since the 2001-2002 school year. Students in TK through 12th grade complete most of their coursework at home with a parent or guardian as learning coach, and the Lompoc center, authorized by Lompoc Unified School District, gives them a quiet place to work and in-person help on weekdays. Each student meets with a credentialed teacher advisor weekly or every other week, and can book office hours with content teachers and sessions with tutors. Lab science students attend weekly wet labs at the center. High schoolers can take Advanced Placement courses and dual enrollment classes at local community colleges. Our Lompoc staff includes an elementary specialist, an English learner coordinator, a bilingual family support coordinator and an education specialist for students with IEPs. Students at the center for two or more hours receive free breakfast and lunch, and the school is WASC accredited for TK to 12.
