About Legacy Learning Community - Show Low
The White Mountain campus of Legacy Learning Community in Show Low serves students in grades K-12 in a supportive, personalized learning environment. Legacy Learning Community is a specialized private school for neurodivergent K-12 students and students with Individualized Education Programs, with Arizona Department of Education certified educators in every school so that graduates earn a diploma. Classrooms are calm, predictable, and structured to support emotional regulation and reduce anxiety, and all programming is individualized and aligned to each student's IEP, with small classes and personalized pacing. This campus has a Registered Behavior Technician on staff and a dedicated outdoor playground for movement, recreation, and social interaction, and the school day runs Monday through Thursday.
Behavioral support is built into the school day. Registered Behavior Technicians and Board Certified Behavior Analysts work alongside teachers so families do not need to coordinate outside providers or insurance claims, and behavioral specialists coach classroom staff on an ongoing basis. Teachers include ASL-fluent staff, and the school serves students across the federal special education categories, including specific learning disabilities, health impairments such as ADHD and epilepsy, and orthopedic impairments. The broader program includes counseling, mindfulness, social skills development, vocational training, college preparation, and practical life skills. Families may enroll privately with ESA funds or through placement by their local school district.
