About Achieve School for Autism - Show Low

Achieve School for Autism's Show Low campus serves K-12 students with autism in the White Mountains of Arizona. Achieve School for Autism is a private school for children with autism with campuses in Phoenix and Arizona's White Mountains. The school uses evidence-based practices in a structured learning environment, with a standards-based curriculum, sensory integration techniques, and behavior strategies tailored to each student. Its signature S.M.I.L.E. program, short for Sensory-Motor Interactive Learning Experiences, uses structured, research-based sensory-motor activities to support educational and behavioral development.

Instruction draws on Unique Learning System, a standards-based curriculum designed for students with autism and other special needs, along with IXL for personalized practice and Generation Genius for science and math in kindergarten through eighth grade. ABA support comes through Lexington ABA Solutions, which works with each child's teacher on skill acquisition and behavior reduction goals, and the school offers arts and music therapy, sensory exploration, and other enrichment. Low student-to-teacher ratios keep attention personal, and families are invited into a strong school community. The school provides free transportation and states that families pay no out-of-pocket costs, with many covering tuition through Arizona's Empowerment Scholarship Account program.
