Shannon Oakes Speech and Language Services

Our pediatric practice serves San Francisco's Mission District with a neurodiversity-affirming, family-centered approach. We provide social communication therapy for school-aged children and young adults, and play-based individual therapy for children from birth to age 6.

Sessions take place in a home office, at schools or by telehealth for clients in California and Oregon. We work closely with caregivers so skills carry over into daily life. Our founder also co-founded Social Learners SF, which runs group therapy for people with social learning challenges.
