RiteCare Childhood Language Center of Coachella Valley

Families pay no fees for speech and language therapy at our center, which donors and grants fund. Established in Palm Desert in 2004, we serve children ages 3 to 13 with communication disorders across the Coachella Valley, and we are one of 19 RiteCare Childhood Language Programs supported by the California Scottish Rite Foundation.

Each child begins with a complete diagnostic speech-language evaluation. Therapy follows in one-on-one or small group sessions with a certified speech-language pathologist (CCC-SLP). We provide speech, language, and literacy treatment, and we evaluate and treat articulation errors, phonological patterns, stuttering, childhood apraxia of speech, expressive language difficulties, and receptive language difficulties.

Parents can observe sessions and take home activities that carry practice into daily routines between visits. Our goal is to give children in the Coachella Valley the communication skills they need to thrive in school and beyond.
