Lad Lake is dedicated to guiding the growth of youth and families, particularly those who have faced significant challenges such as trauma, abuse, and mental health struggles. Serving over 1,100 young people each year, the school focuses on a diverse range of students, including those with histories of family instability and addiction. With a commitment to individualized care, Lad Lake employs trauma-informed and evidence-based practices to help each child navigate their unique journey toward healing and self-reliance. The programs offered encompass safety, individualized therapy, and skill-building initiatives that foster independence through education and residential services. Lad Lake is a social service agency with over 175 years of success in serving youth and their families. Each year, we provide support to over 1,100 youth through safety, individualized therapy, skill-building, and hope across three core program areas: out-of-home care (including residential care, crisis stabilization, and treatment for exploited girls), education and academic support, and outpatient therapy and community-based services. Our trauma-informed, evidence-based practices foster healing and hope, helping youth and their families navigate and overcome challenges.
